How is my data protected?

Your data stays yours, always.

Espa is built with Zero Data Retention (ZDR) technology. This means we never store your data, your content, or your conversations are never stored longer than necessary to complete the task at hand. Your data will never be used to train third-party models.

When Espa reads your email or calendar to understand your writing tone or scheduling preferences,  the content is processed momentarily and used to create an impression of you—we call these memories (i.e. your personalized playbook). Once Espa has learned how you like to do something—say draft an email to a colleague or schedule a 1:1—the data itself is discarded. None of the original data is retained.

Your chat history is also temporary. Espa automatically clears chats every 72 hours. If you ask Espa to summarize an email, Espa pulls the email, generates the summary, and then immediately discards the email itself. The summary will remain in your chat until the chat auto-clears at the 72-hour mark.

For longer project or to-do items, you may intentionally move a message or data into Espa’s Task Manager. Tasks and the data within them remain active stay available until you mark them complete—at which point their related data is wiped.

Do you sell my data?

No. Espa never sells your data, shares your data, or uses your data to train external AI models.

Your information stays private, and fully under your control.
