Memories

Editing, updating, or deleting memories

You can review and manage your memories at any time from the Memories section of the app.

Open your memories

To access your memories:

• open Memories from the left-hand menu, or
• select the Memories icon from the home screen

From there, you can open any memory to review and update it.

Edit a memory

To edit a memory:

1. Open Memories
2. Select the memory you want to update
3. Make your changes directly in the memory
4. Click Save to apply the update

Delete a memory

To delete a memory:

1. Open the memory
2. Click the three-dot menu in the upper-right corner
3. Select Delete

Not all memories can be deleted.

Core memories

Some memories are always kept because they help Espa function properly. These include:

• your Email Playbook
• your Calendar Playbook
• your Email Labeling Rules

These core memories cannot be deleted, but they can still be edited at any time.

Add a new memory

You can add a memory whenever you need to.

To create a new memory, you can either:

• click the Add Memory icon in the app, or
• ask Espa in chat to create one for you

For example, you can say:

• “Create a memory.”
• “Create a memory that I never schedule meetings before 10 AM.”
• “Please never schedule a meeting before 10 AM.”

Espa can create a memory from a direct instruction or from something you share about your preferences. Once created, that memory begins helping Espa right away, and you can review or edit it later in Memories.
